VOICE & LEADERSHIP

Your voice matters here.

Leadership at Haeata is about seeing the value young people bring to their school, whānau and community. It can be expressed in the small choices to help others as well as through formal leadership roles.

Haeata's published Student Leadership programme includes opportunities for senior ākonga to take on specific responsibilities and portfolios.

CULTURE & CONNECTION

Our cultures.
Our voices.
Our community.

Haeata's cultural activities provide opportunities to learn, express identity and strengthen relationships. Its published culture information describes kapa haka as a way to build school-wide connection and student leadership.

Our school haka is a taonga. Explore the existing school pages for its authorised presentation and context.

WELLBEING & CONNECTION

People who know you.
People who care.

Positive relationships, respect for identity and everyday connection matter. We want ākonga to feel able to talk with a trusted adult when they need help or advice.

For current student support contacts, check the school's published information or speak with the school office. A dedicated wellbeing link can be added once its destination is confirmed.

ĀKONGA VOICE

Real stories. Real experiences.

The best way to understand school life is to hear from ākonga themselves. This area is reserved for approved student reflections, photographs and short stories.
